Menu Plan Monday

Well, last week didn't exactly go as planned.  We only ate about 3 of the 7 meals I had in my plan.  I guess that means there is more food for later and that I can save money on grocery shopping!!

My boys had a sports banquet on Friday night and on Wednesday I got home too late to cook before going to church.  I really need to work on my Wednesday night meals since I only have a few minutes at home with the boys before either I take them to church or we all go. Any ideas anyone?

Once again, the menu's below may not be eaten in the order listed but we will try to eat them this week :)

Monday - Fajitas, Beans, Mexican rice
Tuesday - Ravoli w/ alfredo sauce, salad & bread
Wednesday - Tamales, corn, beans
Thursday - Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, veggie
Friday - Beef roast, pasta, veggie
Saturday - Teriyaki port chop stir fry, ramen
Sunday - Breakfast

Menu Plan Monday

DH and I went shopping at ALDI late last week and got a lot for a little :)  This was our first time shopping there and we liked what they had to offer.  We will definately go back.  Tonight we sat down and mapped out two weeks of meals so I can be prepared and ready to cook every night!

Monday - Ravoli w/ red sauce, salad, bread
Tuesday - Asian Meal: Tsotso chicken, egg rolls, fried rice & lomein
Wednesday - (church night) Fish Po Boys, seasoned fries
Thursday - Smothered pork chops, flavored noodles, veggie
Friday - Spaghetti & meatballs, salad, bread
Saturday - Beef roast, rice, veggie
Sunday - Hamburger Helper, veggie

The meals may not be eaten in the order above but we will be eating these meals this week! If you would like to see other menus, visit http://orgjunkie.com/ .

Menu Plan Monday

Well, it's better late than never, right? Here is my menu for this week in no particular order:

Pork Roast, Potatoes & Veggie
Dirty Rice & Sasuage
Quesadillas
Pizza Loaf
BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Shrimp & Pasta
Left Overs

I was sick on Tuesday but managed to grocery shop. I didn't cook so one of these meals will carry over into next week. Have a great week and try to eat dinner together, we do at least 3 times per week :)

Menu Plan Monday

Ok, I am going to try to keep up with this as it is very popular in the bloggy world and a very good idea I might add! I am still having trouble keeping my grocery budget down but am working on it. I don't need to get much for my dinners this week but I find I need to purchase a lot for breakfast and the kids lunches. I am hoping to try making snacks from scratch and weighing if the savings is worth the time.

My DH gets paid on Tuesday's so my menu goes from Tuesday to Monday:

Tuesday - Tuna Melts, Potato Wedges & Fruit
Wednesday - Smothered Pork Chops, Sweet Potatoes & Corn
Thursday - Ravoli, Salad & Bread
Friday - Crockpot Pork Roast, Rice & Broccli
Saturday - Sloppy Joe's, Mac N Cheese & Beans
Sunday - Oven Baked Drum Sticks, Potato Patties & Corn on the Cob
Monday - Burrito Casserole (new)

I tried to come up with 7 days of different breakfasts and here they are:
Muffins
Pancakes
Microwave Omelets
Cereal
Cinnamon Sugar Toast & Fruit
Egg and Cheese Sandwich
Cinnamon Rolls

I also tried to come up with some lunch box snacks:

Granola Bars
Cookies
Chips
Crackers & Cheese
Dried Cereal
Fruit Roll-Ups/Snacks
Veggies (carrots)
Fruit (apples, grapes)
Applesauce
Yogurt

Well, this is what I've come up with for this week. See you again next week (hopefully)
